Bio
Eric Garneau is one of the founders of the Chicago Board Game Cafe (now called Snakes & Lattes Chicago), where he spent three years working full-time to figure out how to make cool and unique tabletop gaming experiences for anyone who wanted one. Before that, he was a manager at Pastimes in Niles, IL, one of the Midwest's largest hobby shops, where he really fell in love with tabletop games for the first time. He consulted on the design of Field Notes' 5e Character Journal and Game Master Journal, which are awesome. He's made a bunch of podcasts and has also published peer-reviewed academic essays on Lady Gaga and also the 1986 Transformers movie soundtrack - likely the only person in the world to hold that distinction, because who else even would? He currently works as the Senior Buyer for ACD Distribution in Madison, Wisconsin.
